You should plan on one. For a non-EU producer selling directly to end users in an EU Member State, Beyoğlu PPWR-EPR treats country-level EPR representation as the default compliance requirement. We only remove that requirement where the current law of the destination country clearly provides another compliant route.
Do not assume that one appointment covers the whole European Union. Packaging EPR registration and representation operate through Member-State systems. One Beyoğlu customer relationship can coordinate the network, while the underlying mandates and regulatory accounts remain country-specific.
EPR means Extended Producer Responsibility. Packaging EPR can require a producer to register, report packaging quantities, participate in a producer responsibility scheme and finance packaging-waste management.
Yes — plan country by country. Producer registration, PRO participation, packaging reporting and representation are not managed through one universal EU registration. Each destination Member State must be assessed separately.
No. Low sales volume should never be used as a substitute for a country-specific compliance assessment. Registration, EPR and representation requirements may still apply to very small sellers.
Do not assume that it does. Marketplace verification, compliance tools or service programmes are not automatically equivalent to completing the producer's country-level EPR registration, reporting and representation obligations.
No. Customs clearance and physical delivery do not prove that producer registration, packaging EPR, PRO payments, reporting or representation obligations have been completed.
